Smithfield's Independence Celebration on Sunday, July 2 will feature entertainment by Spare Change, six food trucks, water slides and activities, and a spectacular fireworks display!

Join us for Smithfield's Independence Celebration on Sunday, June 2 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. at the Neuse River Amphitheater, located at 150 S. Front Street!  A fun night for the entire community, we'll have food trucks, water slides, games and activities for all ages, and music from Spare Change! The celebration will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display at approximately 9:15 p.m. (please note the fireworks start time may change due to weather and sky conditions)! 

With the move of the Independence Celebration to the amphitheater, we've added the Red White & Brews Food Truck Rodeo earlier in the day.  Join us from 1-6pm in the 100 block of S. Third Street, where we'll have eight food trucks and four local breweries (SoDoSoPa's bar will also be open)!
