Founded in 1974, Neuse Little Theatre's completely volunteer workforce brings five diverse productions to the stage each year!
This completely volunteer driven organization has brought over 45 seasons of live theatre to Smithfield and Johnston County communities.  From Neil Simon to Rogers & Hammerstein; from Spoon River Anthology to Wizard of Oz, Neuse Little Theatre has strived to delight young and old alike.
 
With only 100 seats, the Hut, as the Neuse Little Theatre's home is affectionately called, provides ample seating while maintaining the intimate theatreical experience that audiences enjoy.

"The Hut" sits on the banks of the Neuse River and welcomes people into Downtown Smithfield from the west.  Built as an American Legion building, it has been home to the Neuse Little Theatre since the late 1980s.
